In the run up to the Holiday season, things have just been so hectic and its been two weeks since I participated in TWD. Thankfully, this week's TWD pick - Buttery jam cookies - couldn't have been easier to make. Additionally, the uncomplicated ingredient list meant I didn't even have to step out of my house to pick anything else up.
The original recipe calls for apricot jam but Dorie provides some alternatives that can also be used. I chose to stick with the original and I thought the cookies were absolutely delish! They are small, bite-sized and perfect with a cuppa.

Weren't they the perfect snack with tea? Not so overboard that I felt guilty, but just sweet enough :) Glad you liked them!
Your cookies look exactly like mine :) I liked them too!
I liked the cookies too and loved how easy they were. Yours look great!
They look yum!
I agree it was one of the easiest recipes so far this month! No chilling or having to leave the house to get something I dont already have.
These look really good. Will have to try them eventually.
Glad you enjoyed these!
i enjoyed these too! happy holidays!
being more concerned about health these days I have taken to doing all of my baking with olive oil from the Temecula Olive Oil Company. I visited them recently and learned that most oliveoil sold in the united states isnt really extra virgin (a marketing term)and maybe not even olive oil. being a skeptic I have been on line researching it and they are right. sad and disgusting but we americans are being dupped. Temecula olive oil company makes a nice late harvest oil that tastes buttery when you bake with it and a lovely blood orange that is fabulous in items containing chocolate. Highly recommend the research on the olive oil issue if you have time grrr!
